Within 24-48 hours of receiving your inquiry email you can expect a reply from me. Typically, at this time I ask a few more questions by sending you a welcome questionnaire detailing a few of the basics so that I can get to know a little more about you and your needs. This questionnaire email will also talk about setting up a call to go over the more important details of your day, what packages may suit your needs, and getting to know you even more! *If you do not hear from me within 48 hours, please check your spam folder.

WHOOP WHOOP! I am so so honoured and excited to work with you and bring your vision to LIFE.

All session bookings require a 50% deposit and Weddings a $1500 deposit at the time of booking. All deposits are non-refundable. For both sessions and weddings, the remainder of your investment will be due one week before your date.

Immediately upon booking you will receive a welcome guide chalked full of valuable information to make sure you get the absolute most out of your images. But don’t worry, the information train doesn’t stop there…

Don’t worry, once I have received your deposit I wont be ghosting you until the wedding day. If you have read through my pages, you’ll know that I value creating a deeper relationship with my couples in order to provide them with the most valuable experience, and in return, images that represent truly who they are.

Leading up to your wedding I will be sending a few check in’s to see how the planning process is going. Most of this correspondence is through email, but I always recommend at least one more call before your date to hammer out alllll the details and timeline. I want to make sure that no detail goes missed, and that we are on the same page going into your day. Every couple is different, some don’t need as many check in’s, while others want to email and call about every decision they need to make. Whatever your style is, I got you.

How soon after our session/wedding can I expect our photos?

Sessions 14-21 days
Weddings 90 days

I have no idea what my wedding day timeline should look like. Everyone is telling me they need x amount of time. I have no idea how I am going to fit it all in!

I will send you a pre-wedding questionnaire 3 months before your date that will ask about all the details for your day. Taking that questionnaire, I will help you develop a timeline draft that we can move and tweak to fit in absolutely everything we can, while simultaneously ensuring that you are getting the best light for your images (and even time for breaks to... BREATH. Ok pee, but also breath, ha).

I have absolutely noooo idea what me or my family should wear for our session.

After booking your session, I will send you a "what to wear guide". The guide goes over do's and don'ts for colors, fabrics, style of clothing, and even offers a client closet. Still have questions about what to wear? Feel free to send me some picks of your outfit choices and I'll let you know what I think will photograph best!

How many photos can I expect to get?

Every session is so different, so I no longer give a range to the expectation of photos, but rather a guaranteed minimum.
Sessions: Minimum 35 Edited Images
Weddings: Minimum 50 images/hour of coverage

What happens if I need to reschedule?

I totally get it, life happens! And if we learnt anything from c*vid, sometimes it's completely out of our control.

All sessions are given one free rescheduling, with subsequent rescheduling subjected to a $50 rescheduling fee.
Wedding rescheduling is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If clients re-book on a date that the photographer is not available, there is risk of loss of your non-refundable retainer.
If I am not available due to act-of-God, illness, or otherwise, all retainers will be refunded and measures for replacement will be made (unless not needed as per the client).
Further information regarding this can be found in your contract provided at time of booking.

How do I receive my images?

For both session and weddings, images are uploaded to an online gallery. From this gallery you can download, print, and share your images. All galleries are accessible for one year from the upload date, so I always recommend downloading both the high resolution and web size options to multiple places (usb, computer, cloud, external hard drive, etc). If it has been a year and you have not downloaded your images, or they have been lost, don't worry! I don't delete a single image from my hard drives and your images are still accessible. Images can be re-uploaded at any time for a $75 fee.

What if the wedding is running late, can I ask you to stay later?

Wedding days can be wild, and there are so many moving parts to ensure a day runs smoothly and on time. Throughout the planning process I provide an abundance of tips on how to prepare for items running off schedule with the hope that we can stop the problem before it even happens. But, sometimes no matter what you do, a day just gets behind. If a couple has requested me to stay later than scheduled, it is typically not a problem at all, and something that we address before the wedding even happens. I will typically recommend a one hour "bumper fee" to all my couples when we go over their timeline draft. The bumper fee is an extra charge of one hour of coverage up front. Nothing is worse than talking about spending more money on the day of your wedding, while your already stressed about your late timeline. The bumper fee allows me to do a very quick check in with you if the planned evening coverage looks like it will be running long of whether or not you want me to stay. If we do not need to use the bumper fee, you can either have it refunded in full after the wedding day, or you can put it towards prints or an album. I'm all about decreasing stress as much as possible, and this has been a great way to do just that.

I am looking at having a destination wedding, do you do those?

Abso-freakin-lutely!

I consider destination weddings anything outside 3 hours from Lacombe. haha, ok that is a little bit anti-climactic, but in all honesty, I treat them very similarly. For all wedding packages within Alberta there is no extra mileage or travel fee. However, weddings outside the 3 hour range from Lacombe do require hotel accommodation for the night before and after your wedding date.

Ok, but I'm talking about getting on a plane Jaycee...

Epic! I am so stoked that you are thinking of bringing me along! All the wedding packages that I currently offer are for exclusive coverage of your wedding day. Any costs associated with getting to and from, staying at, and any activities (wedding/session specific) for your destination are subject to the fees of obtaining same.

Are you insured?

Yes. 100% yes, up to 2,000,000 to be exact (and typically required by countries/parks before working there).
